HOW TO MOTIVATE EMPLOYEES

WHAT IS MOTIVATION

A state of mind, filled with energy and enthusiasm that makes a person to work in a particular way towards achieving goals. Motivation is a force that drives people to work hard with a high level of dedication, even when things are going against them.  (knowledgehut.com, February 27, 2019)

There are a lot of ways to motivate the employees. Here are some of the main motivational factors mentioned below:

·         Rewarding the Engaged Employees

Rewarding is the main factor regarding motivating employees. With rewards, we can either motivate or demotivate employees because, if we give less reward for the engaged employee than lazy employees they will be demotivated. So, we should be careful when we give rewards to employees.

·         Encourage the Team Work in the Workplace

Always we should encourage the employees to work as a team because we all are working for the common objectives. So, we should work as a team to achieve our common goals.

·         Communication with Employees Positively

In an office we are working more than 8hrs a day so, we should talk with our employees in a friendly manner. If we do so they will be highly motivated & they will not feel any boredom during office time.

·         Encourage Creativity & Listen to Their Ideas

Encourage the employees to tell their ideas will make them feel like they have something special so, we should use that & ask them to create new things. Then the employees will be fully motivated & do the impossible things possible.

·         Provide Training Frequently

Training is the best way to understand the employee’s strengths & develop those strengths to specialize in that particular work & also they will be highly motivated because they also know their strengths.

·         Concentrate on the Employee Health & Safety

Employees are the pillars of a company’s success we should always consider their health as a main priority. We need to reduce their work stress & Arrange to get together, Trip & Parties to maintain their mental. As a result, we can expect a lot of energy from them.

·         Ask Employees Regular Feedback

Feedbacks decides our motivation factors going well or not. So, we should do surveys to identify the drawbacks & we can eliminate them. These types of surveys will motivate employees in a positive manner.

Conclusion

Throughout this article, we can come to the conclusion that motivation is the best way to increase employee performance. Ensure that everyone on the team and within the organization is motivated, and inspired to do more than they can. Employees are the pillars of the company’s success so, we should motivate them as much as possible to achieve the company’s objectives.
